Kids International Foundation was established in 1999 by Shade' Ogunleye, as a non-profit 503(c) corporation to aid the children of El Faro Orphanage in Tijuana, Mexico.

Orphanages do not receive financial support from the Mexican government, therefore it is necessary to solicit donations to feed, clothe, educate and provide for the medical needs of the children.

Casa Hogar El Faro Orphanage (The Lighthouse) was founded by Guadalupe Villavicencio, shortly after she witnessed homeless children picking through burning trash for food, in a city garbage dump.

El Faro Director Guadalupe and a
few of the 85 children in her care.

In just nine years, the orphanage has grown from the original group of seven children living in a trailer without electricity, running water, or bathroom facilities - to a compound housing over seventy children ranging in age from infancy to 17 years.

100% of the funds donated to the Kids International Foundation
directly benefit the children of El Faro Orphanage.
